Victoria Trott is a Wales-based freelance travel writer and member of the British Guild of Travel Writers.
A graduate in French and Spanish from the University of Leeds, she contributes to Living France, France Magazine and French Magazine. She has also contributed to many other national titles as well as customer magazines for luxury brands including Sunseeker yachts and Raymond Blanc.
Victoria is author of Thomas Cook Pocketguide Swansea (April 2011) and co-author of Frommer’s Provence & the Côte d’Azur with your Family (2008) and has updated guidebooks for Michelin (Brittany, Provence), Dorling Kindersley (Provence, Wales), The AA (Brittany) and Thomas Cook (Costa Blanca, Cardiff, Ibiza, Mallorca).
She also undertakes copywriting commissions for French or France-related companies and recently co-wrote the text for Brittany Tourism’s new English-language website.
Her main areas of interest, apart from France and Spain, are Western Europe, city breaks, rail travel, winter sports, retreats and spas, food and ‘luxury for less’.
